I’m on the third part. Honestly don’t know what to feel about it. Gon and Leesu finally got closer to eachother but know we abruptly switch over to the third part, cutting Gon off. I mean Dora is not a bad person but I expected much more than this. Her appearance at the end of or more like at the beginning of the third part annoys me so much…

I find this book to be very confusing.it is genuinely easy to read but due to the authors sentence structure, it is so difficult to follow the plot.I do enjoy her description of the view however I am not able to imagine the view she is describing.it might be my imagination ability or it could be because of her writing style.

Spoiler:

I noticed the cat mentioning being a traveller cat while nearing Mount Fuji. I think this part was written specifically for the middle of the whole book to bind the plot point to the book title!

I loved the first chapter! It is somehow a different narrative from what I usually read.

So many interesting words! But what mostly shocked me was that scene where mcs nephew was crying and she saw the knife which they (sister and mc used previously ), thinking about ways to easily silence a baby… Like this is a bit psycho👀 My general impression so far is that mc might just neurodivergent

So far so good. I’m guessing mc is neurodivergent
