From page #1, I knew I was reading a masterpiece. I took this book with me while proctoring an E&M exam. (I already told my students that you can't ask any questions, school policy, so I had the time for myself: What I do is that I quickly solve the exam in the first 5 minutes of proctoring to make sure there aren't any errors. Now, I started reading.)

I was so absorbed by the book, it is PHENOMENAL! FROM PAGE #1!

Chapters done so far: 1-12; 16-17.

Onto Quantum Mechanical Nonlinear Optics. That ought to be interesting!

I'm reading this to explain to my students the topics which were, at times, inadequately elaborated in their assigned textbooks. This is a superb text, and I recommend it fully.

Very tough book.

A very tough book. This is my third time through.

I have finished recently books that I've yet to review: Struggling Upward (Horatio Alger Jr.), I can't Breathe (David Horowitz), and for the 3rd time The Anti-Chomsky Reader (David Horowitz), The Metaphysics of Mind (Anthony Kenny), Secrets of a Webcam Girl (Anabelle Baxter), Maverick (Jason Riley), Dome of the Hidden Pavilion (James Tate), Statistical Optics (Joseph Goodman), and Get Organized (Ciara Conlon).

Elums!!! (How do they pronounce Elums?)

Only O'Neill can so swiftly change a hilarious situation to one which foretells an upcoming downfall. All I can say is O'Neill is a genius.

The only word that can explain what I'm going through now is Oedipal mania! LOL

I'm going through Oedipus' tragedies again. Boy do I love this guy!

I am so happy for Gluck's Nobel Prize in Literature. She more than deserves the prize. The Wild Iris, my favorite volume of poetry this year, has been cited as one of the main reasons she received the prize.

Please check out my review under the poetry section of my books. I will consider reading more of her works in the near future. I am very happy for her, and happy for such superb poetry winning this year!

I started this book on the 28th of June. What a wonderful book this is!
