Somewhere in Ch 6.. Ok.. The author needs to take a beat and go write a HF novel (maybe a romance?) about Roder, and possibly a few other the other overly well described soldiers. The premise is good, but apparently the author feels the need to go into vast detail about military battle tactics for different battles. I can understand explaining conditions.. but tactics? The narrator is good.
