She is so cruel to that channeling… I guess she has little moral, only her scholarly activities matter for her but it’s not because he is fae that her behaviour is acceptable. Wendell acts shocked thank god! (Although he does not necessarily care usually for human misfortune, he did clearly said he was against threatening kids)

This book is horrible but so addictive

This is slow - I am struggling to get in the story, with all the different POVs we are having. Everytime I think we’re getting a resolution, I have to remind myself that I am not even 50% in. Why so long V.E.Schwab? I was so excited for this book, but it’s getting a chore to read it.

Nice way to dive back in the Rivers of London universe - we re not in London but in Tier, Germany (famous town for its witch hunt) and with the German police. But it’s a smooth (re)-introduction to the magic universe and its particular police.

Book is really slow pace, difficult narration (words, sentences turned weirdly, chapter that does not end!!) and a lot of characters to get around.
