Great, so now there’s a secret society that’s actually running the government. How on God’s green earth is this the B plot?

Not loving how Addie’s hands and sex are described as “little” and “tiny” almost every time they’re mentioned, as well as her body overall. There was also a very strange moment where Zade called her “my little girl,” and THAT is a red flag and a fucking half. No, thank you.

Well, at least they’re calling it sexual assault now. Fucking yikes.

Jesus Christ.

Well, this is… certainly something! You know what, though? Good on Carlton for finding her creepy niche and making that bag. Work, bitch.

Not even fifty pages in and I’ve already made at least two disgusted faces. On the bright side, I enjoy the conversational tone the book has. I’m used traditional, formal diction, so this is a nice change of pace.

LET ME PREFACE THIS BY SAYING that I have absolutely no desire to read this book; The only reason I am is because of morbid curiosity. It can’t really be that bad, right?
