This has got to be the worst book I've read in a very long time. I've put it in my did not finish section. Not only were the main protagonists annoying, I felt no empathy with the victim. Everyone in the book seemed small minded, mean or just awful. I got to chapter 9 and really couldn't be bothered any more. Glad I didn't buy any more.

Just finished the first book Accidental Magic. I did like it, the witchy element the town of Myrtlewood, but Rosemary was and is bloody annoying. Her daughter Athena, less so, but both drove me mad at turns in the book. I'm hoping in the second book they both become less scatty.
