The good part about this series: the love triangle between Chase, Gabe and Snow. The bad part: Snow's inability to stick w/ a decision; her mood swings; and the weird mythology thrust throughout the book with no rhyme or reason. I'd prefer seeing Snow's abilities and the brothers over a mytho-historical lesson.

Reading this complete series of novelettes/novellas as one book was a good idea. I think it would frustrate me to have to buy all 12 features separately. So far it's been a very pleasant and surprising read! All the characters from Snow White are present and the dwarves are the seven brothers!

Shadow Kin feels divided to me - it's trying to be epic fantasy steampunk when honestly - intense magic and scientific instruments never really seem to go together. At least not in this book.

I really like the sunmage - hoping to see more of his abilities manifest. I want to see HOW his powers feel/appear/happen...not just the result.

Halfway done with Blood of Dragons and can't put it down. Great read.

Too much gratuitous sex in the last 3rd of the book. LKH had this problem as well but only AFTER book 5 or so.

Dragons + Atlanta + Kick-Ass Woman = Purchase

Anyone know if the TV Show GRIMM was based on a book series? Would love to read it if so.

I cannot believe how good this book is! Fell straight back into 1929 and the Great Depression. Love the characters and the multitude of backgrounds.
