Loving rereading it already 🤓

Finish the little mermaid. It was definitely different than the movie! The little mermaid dies in the end. And you know what she’s never actually named Ariel so I don’t know where her name came from. She’s always just a little mermaid.

It starts with Little Mermaid 🧜‍♀️ so far it’s pretty good. Similar to the adapted movie version. I read it was very different. So, I’m anticipating that and that may impact how I feel while reading it lol

I finished the book. I loved it. I feel like it spoke to my soul. Many of his books do seem to speak to my soul and this one specifically really did learning about Tengri was very interesting at the end. Our religion without religion, which is kind of how I feel so it almost feels like that helped me identify that. I practice some Buddhism some witchy stuff and even Mexican lol

Really loving reading this book. As always, this author is speaking to my soul.

It jumps right into the story and I’m hooked already lol

I finished the book! It was a pretty good read, it was different than most of the books I do read. But I enjoyed it. I liked how it was told from different respective, and I really enjoyed how it shared that Jamaican immigrant, both legal and illegal, experiences, and I think it really validates that their voices and what we’ve been hearing for them since this was written for the last 25-30 years.

So far, I’m really enjoying it. I’ve not learned a lot about the Rastafarian religion nor culture. I’d always thought of it more of a culture and this talks more about it as a religion, so I’m quite interested to learn about that through this book.

I’ve continued to love this book and I’ve read it fairly fast. It’s a quick read because it’s written for a young audience so the language is very simple to quickly read. Which I haven’t read one of those for a while so I like that and I like that, I can read it quickly. It makes my brain feel smart lol

I finished the body today. I was not very happy with how Stephen King killed Chris in the story. I just didn’t love how he used a moment when he was being his kind self as how he died. I know that it’s reality, but I wish it was a different way and not connected to him being kind. It reinforces the idea to not be kind and not take that chance.

Whew, read the interaction with the older brothers and their crew. I hated that scene in the movie, watching it as a kid. It wasn’t as bad as I remember. But kiefer Sutherland brought that asshole character to life in the movie!

I am thoroughly enjoying reading the body. It actually inspired me to write and yeah, I’m really enjoying it. It’s not my typical read, but I am really enjoying it. I mean, I love the movie and I don’t remember the movie exactly cause it’s been years since I’ve seen it, but the parts I remember are very similar to the book which is great.

I finished at pupil today. Wow, the ending was just wow. I wasn’t sure what to expect but having the kid just go on a killing spree felt unexpected lol anyway glad they caught him five hours out later. It was well written just was a twist that was like wow I guess good job Stephen King. I also found a little bit of perpetuated Zion‘s propaganda that Stephen King wrote, which sucks

Picked it back up today, a little begrudgingly; don’t know why I felt like that. Well I do, I need to finish a book and this isn’t my usual style. Needless to say, I really enjoyed today’s read and am looking forward to continuing on now 🤓

Wow, the book has gotten really good. I’m excited to see what is going to happen, I don’t know still what the mushrooms roll is in all of this, if it is going to be the villain or if it will end up rescuing everything. I’m excited to find out .

I didn’t realize it was a LGBTQ+ story, it has a trans man main character. I think it’s awesome I stumbled across this. Only 2 chapters in but I’m enjoying the perspective and narrative of it.
