It’s a really good story, and is engaging but I am not engaged and get so distracted reading it. Is it my 🧠 or the 📖 ?!

Fun story so far

Had taken a bit to get into but the I’m starting to enjoy it more. Story is sticking with me more. I’m going to start ending my reading with a quick review of where the story is leaving off. 🤞this will help me remember better 🫶

I started it a little intimidated as it is such a huge series and that’s a lot of memory power lol I did enjoy it once I let go of trying to remember every detail and writing a lot of it down lol

Finished it and loved it 🤓 have now added many Terry Pratchett books to my want to read list lol

Nearing the end and am feeling excited to learn what happens but also sad that it is coming to an end 🤓😆🤷🏽‍♀️

Still loving it. Had to take a couple days off due to a migraine 🤕 and was so grateful to get back to it today 🤓

Really enjoying it. It’s very different and you have to piece things together, and although I may have missed some, I have definitely got lots 🤓

I’ve never wanted a book to be over more than this one. I’m sorry Hans, but you’re too Christian preachy shame filling for me I think. I’d need to add my own twists to remove the Christian propaganda of cautionary tales.

Honestly not loving it. I think it’s the really pro Christian propaganda bullshit that annoys me 🤮

Finished it and read the extra addition of a part with shadow and Jesus. I loved it and am so glad I reread it. I’m going to read Good Omens next by him next 😁😁😁😁😁

Finish the little mermaid. It was definitely different than the movie! The little mermaid dies in the end. And you know what she’s never actually named Ariel so I don’t know where her name came from. She’s always just a little mermaid.

It starts with Little Mermaid 🧜‍♀️ so far it’s pretty good. Similar to the adapted movie version. I read it was very different. So, I’m anticipating that and that may impact how I feel while reading it lol

I finished the book. I loved it. I feel like it spoke to my soul. Many of his books do seem to speak to my soul and this one specifically really did learning about Tengri was very interesting at the end. Our religion without religion, which is kind of how I feel so it almost feels like that helped me identify that. I practice some Buddhism some witchy stuff and even Mexican lol

Really loving reading this book. As always, this author is speaking to my soul.

It jumps right into the story and I’m hooked already lol

I finished the book! It was a pretty good read, it was different than most of the books I do read. But I enjoyed it. I liked how it was told from different respective, and I really enjoyed how it shared that Jamaican immigrant, both legal and illegal, experiences, and I think it really validates that their voices and what we’ve been hearing for them since this was written for the last 25-30 years.

So far, I’m really enjoying it. I’ve not learned a lot about the Rastafarian religion nor culture. I’d always thought of it more of a culture and this talks more about it as a religion, so I’m quite interested to learn about that through this book.
