Cool sounding concept but unfortunately poorly handled. Feels like YA from the early 2000s but I'll keep listening because the narrator is putting their whole back into it

I'm having a great time! Lots of good-looking recipes. The authors list lots of easy swaps to make life easier for selective/vegetarian/vegan eaters. Pictures & stories from the show included. Dietary tables, even more substitutions, and measurement conversions in the back.

Interesting but kind of overwhelming

This sounds right up my alley, but there was a lot to keep track of right off the bat and it all feels very gritty

The narrator pronounced gif "jiff" so idk about this
