I don’t like lucky very much. Scratch that, I hate lucky.

I had to take a break to quickly rate most of the books i read in the past year because of my absolute love for Nigerian lit. Coming back to the present I can’t help but have reservations about this book. The beginning was enough to draw me in though so I guess I’d see you at the finish line lol

No really, that’s a question for deep thought. Why would a 36 year old woman that has thought deeply about the large age gap settle for me? Is it something more that short term or sexual gratification? Is there a certain way I make her feel? Ivan’s reaction I believe was a bit dramatic I believe granted though, he doesn’t like his brother very much. However, I’m yet to find out why

Peter isn’t really nice, Is he? But is there something awfullly wrong with the question he asked?

I wish the pacing was a bit better, at the beginning I was in love. Being a Yoruba girl makes this so fun because you get to see grand entrances from gods you heard about I folklore and social studies stories, I also liked the fact that basic Nigerian words didn’t have to be overly explained but my love for this book slowly fazed as the the pacing wasn’t the best for me.
