The orgy scene in BNW reminds me a lot of the waffle party scene in Severance. To the point where I'm like "oh this was absolutely something they were thinking about while writing the show". So far, BNW is, in fact, Rated.

Gay drama is crazy 🤪

The motif of cops throughout this book is really effective. Violence looms large in this small town; it's omnipresent and opressive in small ways the characters don't notice but that are impossible to miss as a reader.

I don't think I've been this into a book in years. Need more good horror books to read after!
