As a longtime fan of this amazing guitarist and songwriter, I’m enjoying his excellent memories about his early life and the formation of Fairport Convention and its incomparable members, Sandy Denny, Iain Matthews, Ashley Hutchins, Dave Swarbrick, Simon Pegg, Dave Mattacks, and Simon Nichol. Thompson’s writing is detailed and eloquent.
