I really want to finish this by the end of February. I'm not really enjoying it atp but I've invested so much time into it that I refuse to dnf

DNF whoops. I started reading this because someone said it had similar vibes to the Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy (which i LOVED) but I got 20% into it and almost nothing had happened and there was no sign of a plot. I might come back to it later because i found the concept of it really interesting but i’m just not in the mood for a slow paced book at the moment

I’m really enjoying it so far buut i do think the first season was much better, especially regarding characters. The only character that i genuinely feel has had a good arc is Blyke.
