Me resulta siempre más difícil separar la poesía en general de un cierto nivel de arrogancia literaria que me parece que siempre esconde. "Muchos de mis poemas no se entienden // y es una lástima."
Pues, efectivamente, si.

Hasta ahora mis líneas favoritas son
"Cielo callejero que se murió de tanto comer tierra," y
"Tantos dioses y todavía nos da frío en los pies."

What a blast from the past.

This whole book is just one gargantuan, painful eye roll. I can't wait to be done with it.

Taking a brief break from talking about trees to talk about souls. This is not a fun book.

Much as I find Dawkins a bit of an arrogant jackass in real life, I must admit his writing is excellent.

It's like Brooks read The Lord of the Rings trilogy and thought to himself, "Hmm, you know what this has? TOO MANY WOMEN." And then decided to redo it.

I don't think I'm so much reading this as trying to inhale it.

I have my doubts about the content, having studied it (if briefly) some years ago - but mentions of it just keep on popping up wherever I go, so I suppose I ought to give it a chance, if sceptically.

E' meu primeiro livro em portugues, espero que no e' demais dificil...

Just finished The First Report of the Shipwrecked Foreigner, and it was beautiful.

Really enjoyed the first, an thoughtfully odd little story.

I have never rolled my eyes so much at a book.

Here a quote: "You were married; don't you know how this is supposed to go? The woman doesn't want you to argue or try to solve the problem with logic. The woman wants you to commiserate with her." What? ? Make it stop. Although, the woman is currently reading a book nearly worthy of tears for how bad it is, so maybe a bit of commiseration wouldn't be too off point.
