Reading this for my apologetics class at SBTS rn. This book, class, and more broadly, this school is turning me into a presuppositional apologist. Or at least turning me off to classical apologetics. I def want to keep diving more into apologetics and learning each position and while I think there’s a time for each, I’m def becoming convinced of presuppositionalism overall. It’s by far the most well rounded.

It says “not yet published” on here but I was given it at a bethlehem conference the other day and it’s good good so far!

I’ve never read an ND Wilson book before (my mom read 100 cupboards to us growing up but I don’t remember it at all) but I’m glad I am. He’s incredibly engaging as an author.

This story is becoming pretty redundant. It basically repeats the same story over and over again every chapter. Either Robin Hood meets a dude on the road and challenges him to a fight and then the guy joins their band or someone is trying to trap Robin Hood and he ends up getting the better of the dude.

I’ve always seen Robin Hood as a hero growing up, however, in listening to this audiobook, I’ve grown to partially dislike him as a character lol. While I love the story and do ultimately see him as the hero of the story, he often acts childishly and allows his arrogance and love of fighting to get the better of him. Not the morally upright man I remember from my childhood.

The more books I read by the men at my school, SBTS, the more thankful I am to be a part of this school and denomination (SBC). These men all love the Lord and follow Him faithfully and preach his truth convictionally.

So far, this thing is a masterpiece.
