My first 5 star read of 2026. 😂

I am so in love with this story. 🥰

I couldn’t get into this book the last time I tried to read it, but I’m in now!

This author can be hit or miss for me. So this is a hit.

This book is an unexpected gem. ❤️

Wait- did I finish this book? Obviously not memorable…

Apparently I’m still not done this one…

I feel like the author really wants us to note something important about the FMC and MMC’s relationship. I can’t think of the word… gosh, what could it be… oh right. Mate mate mate mate. 🤪

Ugh. Why is this book so long?!

Apparently I’ve read the first two books in this series. 🤷‍♀️

So far this novel is ok… I cannot imagine why there needs to be a fourth book, though.

Ohhhhh! A spooky start! I love it!

I am LOVING this book. The audiobook narrator is fantastic and the characters are likeable and interesting. I don’t have a clue what any of the math means, but I’m good with the answers the MMC comes up with.

I’m enjoying this one. The constant questions are annoying at times and totally fine at others. I quite like the Guardian. I’m very anxious about a recent choice made by Odessa… we shall see if my hunch is correct. I’m having difficulty not looking up spoilers. Haha.

I’m a few chapters in. So far this is not what I was expecting. It’s amusing so far but requires some acceptance of the fact that this isn’t going to be great literature.

I’m too far in to quit… however, I’m tired of hearing about Grandpa Constantine. The FMC also licks the inside of her cheek. A lot. It’s the oddest description. I like the characters but there really isn’t much happening… the ending is a cliff hanger which is another reason I haven’t given up. I might skip ahead…

I think the gargoyle is my favourite character. 😂

I put off starting this book because I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do serial killers. But I am so glad I did! The two main characters are SO likeable (I mean, aside from the murder) and I love the banter between them. And the longing, the almost kiss in chapter 10 is perfection. I was yelling at Rowan to kiss her! The audiobook narrators are 5⭐️ and the male narrator’s Irish accent is perfection.

The audiobooks for this series are top tier!

This started off strong… but it’s a bit cringey…

I picture Archer like Castaway Tom Hanks.

This one might be a DNF.

I have no idea what’s going on or who half these people are. 🤷‍♀️

I thought this was a duology but it’s a QUINTOLOGY. I loathe unfinished series. 😂 This author is a breath of fresh air. Yet I am having a hard time reading this book- one of the characters is deplorable. I hate him. I know I’m supposed to hate him, and it’s a sign of a good author that I hate him so much, but that doesn’t make it easier to read chapters from his POV.

So far this book isn’t grabbing me but I’m also only on the first chapter.

I’m enjoying this book more than book 1.

Kingfisher?! KINGFISHER?! This is the worst name ever. Fisher I can get behind. But Kingfisher?! I cringe every time I hear his name.
