Great so far!

Good for a brain break. Very predictable. Like a Hallmark movie where no one is happy, most everything goes wrong, but you can’t stop reading. Good enough that I want to read the sequel. Not so good that I’ll be raving to all my friends about it. A fast-paced easy read.

Good book, lots of good information. It depends on where you are on your path as to how much help this book will be. I think if I had read it a few years ago it would’ve been very influential. But at this point with my current beliefs it was mediocre. Compared to *Eyes Wide Open: Cultivating Discernment on the Spiritual Path* which I’m reading at the same time- this book doesn’t hold a candle.

It’s an okay book. I liked it as a fiction novel. Some of the information really resonated with me. Some of the information was upsetting in that it was sexist. I’ve read many reviews that say to stay far away from this book because it makes claims to authenticity and historical accuracy that it can’t back up. I cannot vouch for that, but I can say It’s worth a read if you view it as fiction.
