12:30 AM. The epitome of escapist summer fare. Far better than the summary sounds. I don’t care if it rains all day tomorrow.

This is a (rare) re-read, but still counts as reading—my second novel since Labor Day.

I haven’t been able to read since....Labor Day...not even on vacation.
Is that “reader’s block”?
At last! I have found a book and I’m reading again. So much more than a sigh of relief.

I’m hoping this will be the book that I can actually read. Reality TV is not working for me.

For those times when my fever is wayyy higher than my IQ..pretending that I’m reading about the torrents of trashy TV I’ve been watching.

40 pages in, my second whoa in two days. Not what I expected, in a good way.
