Actually reading The Atlantic Library edition published by The Olympia Press, Paris, in 1954, under the pseudonym Frances Lengel.

A truly wonderful book. The kind that had me ordering books to follow up on some of the fascinating characters that I'd not heard of and introducing me to some of the other work of people I did know, before I'd got half way through. The production and layout are a joy, with great big images alongside clear concise text. Can't believe it cost under £18. Buy it, read it, treasure it.
