Some nonsense being discussed as it goes

I’m trying very hard to buy in to this book but I swear it’s like hitting like two hundred or more pages that’s just “and then they burned down this place, and then they burned down this other place, and then they burned down that place, and then they burned down the next place and also that one over there…”

Finally namedropped my boy Sigismund on this page only to accuse him of twiddling his thumbs in buda. How rude

I, for one, think it’s a great idea to run off to Constantinople for an easier life

I spent the last several chapters discussing this situation reading angrily like “this is so stupid, so stupid, I hate when books do this, ughhhh, so disappointed but this is what I get for reading a book written by a MAN” (as if most of my favorite books aren’t 😂) and then this PLOT TWIST got me good. Omg

I figured out who it was by the direction the conversation took but I cannot believe this person is back, I am astonished but I’m liking this turn of events

How is there still so much of this left. Should I just dnf at this point

I literally hate this but there’s not much left thankfully so I’m just going to buckle down and finish it

The excerpts from other fictional documents are truly terrible. Also this would be so much better without the Mithras nonsense, I’m very frustrated

Not enjoying this as much as I thought I would but it’s still early
