I went into this thinking it would be fun, or about as entertaining as a book about a serial killer can be.

But holy cow, no. No no no no.

It's just...depressing.

One gentleman who is killed, the book does you a favor, and shows his train of thoughts as he goes to heaven. But that is the ONLY bright spot.

I'm only finishing it at this point because I NEED to know who and why the person is doing this.

I had a "friend" like Zorie once, who only thought of herself (and men) and always managed to screw over everyone around her.

This book is so frustrating because of her. It's a wild book so far, but Zorie is just...ARGH.

I'm so excited for this, y'all have no idea, lol.

I watched the movie recently, and it totally surprised me how much I liked it. I was expecting schlocky T&A, and instead it was...not that.

It was directed and written by Eli Craig, who directed and wrote Tucker & Dale Against Evil, so if you liked that movie, definitely give this movie a shot.

I know the book will be different, (prob. better); still excited.

I LOVE Foley's writing. She has such a way with words and visuals, I need to read more by her.

The actual plot...I'm unsure about, but I do wish nasty things upon one particular character, so kudos for getting me to finish the book for that.

If you read anything Sweet Valley when you were younger, or The Baby-Sitter's Club, I highly recommend this book. Hearing Jessica and Elizabeth referred to as "foxy blonde sociopaths" has been a definite highlight.

I went darker, apparently, in a book I've seen described as The Menu meets Ready or Not, two movies I loved, and Saw meets Glass Onion, also two movies I loved.

So. A lot of hype here.

I really enjoy listening to Andrew Eiden, but why does he always sound so menacing? He starts reading, and I immediately assume he's guilty, doesn't matter the character or book. I don't think there's any murder in this, but he's still guilty of something, lol.

This is better than the first. It looks like all the unprofessionalism in that one was on purpose, as this one attempts to perform an actual investigation.

The daydream sequence though...if you do it in the first book, it needs to be real in the second. As soon as it started, I sighed, knowing it wasn't real. I wish it was, don't get me wrong, and maybe there will be a real one soon. Fingers crossed.

I'm already liking this more than the first book. Common sense is prevailing, so it seems like the first book is intentionally written that way, with plot holes and the obvious conflict of interest.

I'm intrigued where this will go.

I don't want to finish this. But I need to know how much worse it gets, because so far...ugh.

I really like this author. But if I had read this book first, I would not have read anything else by her.

Nobody is likable. This book is absolutely infuriating in the worst way. These characters are awful and irritating, and I just want it to be over.

So, I do like Jeneva Rose's books. She's a fun writer with really good ideas, and writing seems to come naturally to her.

But I'm so glad I listen to audiobooks because I definitely enjoy the male narrator she uses. I don't know who chooses him, but Andrew Eiden is very much one of my favorite male narrators, and I look forward to her books more if he's reading.

This is the weirdest Hendrix book I've read yet, and I have no idea what to think. I'm finishing it anyway because I *need* to know how it ends, but I'll take weird over gross any day.

I LOVE Grady Hendrix's books, but this one is infuriating.

The outright lies these poor girls are being told is atrocious. I know it's the 60s, I know it's a different time, but to lie and say that a healthy pregnancy leads to a good birth is a bald-faced lie, and the doctor and Miss Wellwood are just...they're so horrible and sanctimonious, it's nauseating.

I am loving this book. It won't be for everyone, I admit, but me? I'm snickering out loud, getting teary-eyed, and identifying quite a bit with Elizabeth, mostly about motherhood. Harriet is also amazing, and I need someone like her in my life.

I want to finish this. I'm so intrigued what's going on with Lydia, but just the description of her mouth made me gag so hard, lol. It doesn't help bodily fluids gross me out beyond words, so I'm really hoping there's gore and blood instead of saliva in the future.

Love triangles are the laziest writing ever. Yes, by all means ignore the guy who's always been there for you, for the guy who left and gave you the silent treatment for months. Makes perfect sense.
