Imagine using the phrase "it's like opposite day in here" in a Star Wars book

So far, this book is just putting me off ever running. It sounds horiffic. I'm never moving again.

Urrggghhhhhh the romance in this is as insta-lovey as I remember it being and I'm Not A Fan. I feel like I like Scarlet and Wolf so much less as characters because of it, they're some of my least favourites but I think that's pretty much just because the romance in this is so dumb

Marguerite Sauvage's art is SO GOOD, kinda wish she did all the art for this.

Maybe I'll read this at some point in the future but I read a few chapters and I really don't feel like this is a book I will enjoy

I love that Clint has just turned up and messed everything up, fun times!

Do I like Ed and Madeline because I like them as characters/people or do I just think Reese Witherspoon is amazing and Adam Scott is really hot? It's impossible to say

Also, hilarious that Nicole Kidman and Alexander Skarsgard are meant to be the hot couple when Reese and Adam are RIGHT THERE

IDK whether this main point of this book is to delve into the ideas of humans augmenting their bodies and using advanced tech to make themselves "better", or whether it's to remind me how awful teenage boys are, it's doing both things pretty well

Three Body sounds like the worst ever game and something I would never ever want to play... But the books good! Even if I don't get a lot of the science-y stuff

For a while there I was thinking "hey, this isn't quite as depressing as the first book, that's good!", but no, Butler is just putting her characters (and me) through HELL here.

I'm only about 30 minutes into the audiobook and I'm already feeling so emotional, I'm probably just going to cry throughout the whole thing

So far this is very depressing and I feel like that's just how this is going to continue, maybe not the best escapist read

Read issues #32-35 so far and really enjoyed the whole escape room thing, escape rooms + squirrel girl?! Yes please!

This book has the line "Layla let out a breath she did not realize she had been holding". That's upsetting. I was really enjoying this book as well!

Lara Jean sure makes some odd decisions. I can somewhat relate to some parts of her like her interests but the way she acts is bizarre to me. I don't know how many people IRL would make these kinds of decisions. Obviously Han has to to make it dramatic but it's making it hard to understand her and view her as a real person.

I really never thought I'd read this but now I'm intrigued

Starting my #womenintranslation readathon reads early because I'm a rebel. I'm only a few pages in but so far this is genuinely really well written, I'm scared to read it because I know it'll probably be harrowing but I know I need to at some point and this seems like a good time.

Would not be surprised if the 2 evil prince/king/tsar's were the same person because they have the exact same personalities so far, but then the 3 female leads also have the same personalities so maybe characters just aren't Novik's strong point.
