I can compare the theme of this book to my life since we both are trying to get through middle school with annoying siblings and homework to keep us busy.

The attitude of kieffer in this book shows how he is kind, and forgiving. Proof of this is when someone or something bothers or annoys him he just swallows it.

The relationship between the pro and antagonist is that the protagonist Henry is the owner/ wielder of the pencil of doom which is the antagonist.

The author uses characterization to describe the protagonist being Henry by showing off his knowledge about the pencil always making stuff that is even good into something bad.

The point of view is in third person omniscient so I as the reader know everything that happens before the characters do like I knew about the Lion, the robbery and the big check that all did damage to the people who drew with the pencil.

An example of cause and effect in this book is that after Jack drew himself with 1 million dollars using Henry's Pencil of Doom a robber throws that cash at him while driving away in his/her getaway car making Jack Japes a Millionaire.

The words in the book are used to express how the mood and tone of the book are saddening. An example of this from the book is: It gasped for breath, but could draw none, and its eyes wore a kind of fear I had never seen. That is how the author uses words to show sadness in the book.

This book is an alternate biography of Abe Lincoln talking about how he hunted Vampires with an ax during his free time.

The heme of Mockingjay is that you should never let revenge take over your life. An example from the story is that when they fight the capital katniss makes it mainly about getting revenge on snow for all of the stupid things he did even though it's not orth it since she'd be no better than him.

The dialogue spoken shows how badly she wants to kill Snow and save peeta. An example is when she says on her list of demands to coin in bold capitalized letters at the end To be the one to KILL PRESIDENT SNOW.

My protagonist in mockingjay is Katniss everdeen, she is a 16 year old girl who wants to save peeta mellark from president snow. She says that when district 13 attacks the capitol she gets to kill president snow when they save peeta and win the war. she also says that she wants hunting privileges probably to keep her skills up against live and moving targets instead of dummies.

Suspense is the feeling of uncertainty about something.
Suzanne Collins uses suspense by leaving us wonder or not katniss is going to do something. An example is when president coin asks katniss if she will help her kill snow and be the mockingjay for them and we have to keep reading to find out if katniss helps or not.

What I like about Mockingjay: I like how president snow and president coin are alike and basically the same person in different places an example of this is they are both in charge, they both have an army, and they both have plans to win the war. that is why i like mockingjay

Foreshadow: To show or indicate beforehand.
An example from mockingjay is when Boggs tells katniss that if she doesn't support coin she will get killed. That leaves her with 3 choices obey the coin way, kill coin, or get killed. the part i think is foreshadowed is katniss's choice. I think this since if she kills president coin she will get killed, so her only choice is to obey the coin way.

Mockingjay is in first person. An example of this is when Beetee says to Gale "I thought you might like to find one that suits you."

In Mockingjay the protagonist is Katniss and the antagonist is President Snow. they add to the story because Katniss is so concerned that if the rebels attack that President Snow will kill Peeta who Katniss obviously still has feelings for.

Goodreads sensory detail post: Katniss felt her foot kick the skull from district 12. Gale asked her if she wanted him to come down to district 12 with her and she heard him. Katniss saw Peeta on the television taking to Caesar. Katniss smells unwashed bodies, stale urine, and infected antiseptic wipes. Katniss tastes the turnips Gale gives to her.
