This is quickly becoming one of my favorite books, but reading it is a lot like eating crab legs. You have to do a lot of work for a little bit of meat, but the meat is worth the work, and the work is part of the experience. Just like I wouldn’t eat pre-shelled crab legs, I wouldn’t like this book as much if it didn’t have to really dig through the lengthy descriptions that lead to a super savory plot point.
