Really enjoying this so far. Really witty and gritty writing.

Not sure if this just appears on my feed or the book feed, so SPOILERS

I'm about 75/80% in on the audiobook but need to just say I'm so happy with the way Daniel B Greene has dealt with the 'relationship tension'. Call it out, decide against it, give reasons why not. So many books turn me off with a 'oh but if course they get together, despite it making no sense'.

Hope this doesn't flip in the next 20%!

Just toward the end of Part 2 and am loving this.

Absolute highlights so far....

The time spent with Maggie at about halfway.

And the line “television rarely lives up to the original”.

Wow.

Really enjoying this.

Whatever else I think about this book Gary in the mine is just wonderfully funny.
