Well this has gotten slightly better, but I still want the old gang back!

Is this even worth continuing? I want to skip this book and move on to Defiant, but I'm pretty sure I'd be one very confused reader if I did that.

Why does it feel like I'm reading a completely different series, by a completely different writer? This feels way different from the first two books, and I'm not enjoying it as much.

Third time reading this, and it's just as good as the first time around. Really impressed with how Khanani can write, let the reader imagine, and pull readers in.

Finally! The fact that this secret (that shall go unnamed for spoiler purposes) lasted this long was honestly surprising and somewhat frustrating.

Honestly, I'm surprised at how decent this series is. Usually, sci-fi is not my thing, but Gray does a decent job of not overwhelming you with it. I am slightly disturbed sometimes, but that's just me with sci-fi.
