Kiran is 28% done with A Tide of Shadows (Chronicles of Llars, #1)
Just finished Chapter 5,and while I'm still intrigued by the book In definitely finding it to be disjointed at times when the author is trying to describe somewhat complex scenes. That being said, it isn't disjointed enough to lose my interest and I'm looking forward to reading onward.

Kiran is starting Focus: The Hidden Driver of Excellence
I'm restarting this book from the beginning. It's ironic that the book is titled "Focus" and I can't seem to concentrate on it long enough to finish it. I also get sidetracked by other more entertaining reading so after the first chapter or two I'm off reading the next fantasy epic on my queue. Time to buckle down and get through my "to-read" list and not start anything else for now.

Kiran is reading American Gods (American Gods, #1)
I've had this book sitting on my shelf for a few years now, but never even longer at it. Decided to read something new the other day and grabbed it. I am beyond hooked on it right now. The character of Shadow is both enigmatic and yet strangely open. Loving it so far!

Kiran is reading Assassin's Apprentice (Farseer Trilogy, #1)
So far the book is thoroughly interesting. It was largely boring character set-up, but some how I was quite hooked. Hopefully it doesn't hook me too deeply...I have studies to keep my mind on...

Kiran is reading The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference
Listening to the audiobook while riding the train or walking, and this is wonderful. The reading, done by Malcolm Gladwell, is brilliant and his thesis regarding the "tipping point" is crystal clear. He applies the concept to different aspects of life from business to literature to crime. I'm excited to see how he finishes the book.

Quite literally a book I have to force myself to put down. It's more than eye opening in its frankness about the events in American history
