I like the book, so far.

The book moves quickly. While there much in here that we don’t already know, it’s very well written. It’s nice to have a summary, all in one place that includes Ukraine, the Middle East, and the transition of power.

I find myself anxious to get back to this book, not because I like it, but because I don’t. I can’t wait to finish it so I can read something else.

I don’t like this book. It’s sad, boring, depressing and just very boring. I don’t know if I’ll get through it. I keep reading, hoping it will improve.

It’s interesting…want to see where it’s going. It does remind me of Pineapple Street, where the rich people are so stereotyped as shallow, meaningless souls. This reinforcement that wealth = evil is a bit old.

It’s interesting, lots of suspicions, twists, turns. Just when you think this are resolved, another twist.

This book is well written. I am actually listening to it while I walk the dog, and it works pretty well for this because it’s one of those human nature type books. Hearing 30 minutes at a time is plenty, as it seems a bit redundant.

I’m actually reading the 50th Anniversary edition, but that isn’t in GoodReads, for some reason (even though I bought it on Amazon for Kindle). So far, I really like it, and I’m not even a big baseball fan.

Unfortunately, I’m still a bit frustrated. I like aspects of this book, but it isn’t up to the Nightingale quality.

This is such a pleasant story to listen to - Meryl Streep is always so fantastic.

Terrible…keep waiting for it to get better, but feels like it was written by an 8th grade girl.

I am listening to this book on Audible. I highly recommend this version because Meryl Streep is so fantastic. I’m really enjoying her narration. Some reviews have found the book to be boring, and while it is certainly not action-packed or suspenseful, sometimes a peaceful, reflective, loving book is what a person needs.

Liking this a little better, now.

Ick! How much of this book will be about bat shit?

I like this book, so far. However, they are innocent people starting to do stupid things that will implicate them. It makes me anxious.

Love this book, so far. I wasn’t sure about it, but this is much more interesting than I expected.

So far, this book is so boring. Maybe there will be an interesting twist, at some point.

I’m on chapter 4, again. I really hate this book, but I’m trying to suffer through a bit longer.

I was really enjoying this book until I was about 80% into it. The book just took a really ridiculous turn, and I’m struggling to finish it, now.

I was a little bored with the beginning of the book, but once Peter opens his first club in NYC, it is hard to put down. I have some great memories from Limelight, Palladium, and Tunnel. It’s interesting to read about all of the behind the scenes activity and strategies to keep the clubs current.
