Finally getting the FMC's POV - I'm looking forward to seeing how her mind is working after her trauma. I'm expecting triggers in her POVs. Also wondering if she's struggling with not remembering/knowing what happened.

I forgot that people don't think about this/know this

First kiss. They're still in the hospital but she'll be discharged soon. The FMC not remembering her attack probably helps with moving this romance along, but I guess this feels fast to me personally. But everyone reacts to trauma differently, so it's pretty amazing to see how strong and resilient the FMC is.

Also - I really like how we've only had MMC POV so far; I feel like we don't get this perspective enough.

Sometimes I forget about the trauma that the person that finds the victim/survivor because it gets overshadowed by the trauma that the victim went through. This book is a blatant reminder of how everyone is suffering in this situation.

My eyes are starting to glaze over with all this hockey talk...

Um...the fmc is 17 while the mmc is 20. Not super comfy with this.

That was a lot of hockey terminology. I'm a hockey fan, so I'm not really worried about this. But I think if you don't watch/play hockey, you might have a hard time understanding it or you might be frustrated by it. Just something to keep in mind.
