10% in, there has been 1 woman. A scretary, among male pilots, engineers, spies, secret service. Do I want to continue?
I thought Chris Hadfield was a decent, innocent guy, but apparently his book is just another male spy story set in the cold war.

This has been wonderful so far, characters with sad backgrounds, tough lives, but they know this café with the magic cakes.

Wow, fast paced and thrilling, I Wonder why I waited so long to read No 3 of this series. Unputdownable.

I am so bored. I would love to finish this but I feel I am wasting my time here...

800 Pages of 980 done! I won't do much reading on this in September but I really want to finish as fast possible. It feels like the last 100 pages of war and strange behaviour of civilians were just a repetition of what happened before...

A wonderful book, sad, shocking and heart breaking. Not much left but I'm running out of library time once again and will have to borrow it one more time.

Another 100 pages done. 10 of those were blank or tables of content for a new chapter 🎉 Some parts were quite interesting, about battles and Napoleon. The women are still described as pretty stupid. Less than 300 pages left!

Another 100 pages done. It's more or less the only thing I am reading these days (3 pages a day), I try to be outdoors as much as possible.

Library book has expired, need to wait for a new copy. Like it a lot so far.

Here we are, with 100 pages done in April. Lucky me, they were not all normal pages but tables of content etc. Next month will be a challenge due to travelling but we will see.

Thats another month of 100 pages completed. Still don't know if this is great literature or a waste of time. If I stop now, I'll never start again.

The setting, the characters, the writing all is beautiful but it is so boring. Might have to abandon this for a while and continue later.

Found this in an open book exchange and decided to read it again, some 30 years after the first time.
