i'm TERRIFIED of this book

i'm pausing this

i really am trying to read this at my normal speed but i'm in a bit of a slump and i have like two more days to finish the audiobook before i have to wait 16 weeks to get it again

i miss stupid romance books where they get a happily ever after and i don't have to think about the immense trauma of war

once i can lock tf in and don't have to work everyday it's over for u all

this will emotionally wreck me and i will blame ida for it

i think they're growing on me (i need to read a queer book after this i'm going through withdrawals)

when i day idc about straight ships THEY ARE NOT INCLUDED

i was meant to finish this today but then got too buey helping my mom 😔

i love them sm it's actually crazy

i honestly did not expect to love this sm

i'm rediscovering my love for audiobooks and reading books while listening to the audiobook

BONES IS DEMIROMANTIC????? i did NOT see that one coming

this is like the fourth straight romance i read in the past month, i truly am returning to my roots guys

okay so i like ludwig and i like his inner conflict and i like janusz and think he's incredibly interesting and i'd like to see his pov but also i feel like it's a little hard to form a connection to them? but i also feel like i have no connection to banjo and the other dude i forgot his name but i still liked glasgow boy cuz i thought the scottish working class was incredibly interesting

i keep catching myself trying to belittle this book because it's "just a romance" but if i'm being honest it's actually pretty good and i like the varities of masculinities in this books

i like how this highlights the duality of authoritarian regimes and it's really interesting to read as a history major

it also gives me the strongest urge to research the "socialist" regime of poland and maybe compare it to east germany

i feel like i blacked out approximately 10% of that book but honestly it's quite cute

yk for the fact that i went to my bookshelf saying "i want to read a silly romance" this is not the outcome i expected
