Aaaaughhh I miss this era of Star Wars storytelling. Hard to place exactly why it feels so much more rich and interesting and developed, but it really, really does. Christie Golden has only ever written 10/10 Star Wars, and I will always always be sad her Sword of the Jedi series was cancelled by Disney.

i like the characterizations but at the same time this book is a bit of a slog

It’s been a bit slow going with this book, but there have already been some bright moments. Really nice to get a lot of character moments with the Jedi council members. Eeth Koth and Yarael Poof are big standouts so far for me.
