for a supposed “romance” there’s not much of that going on and we r almost halfway through but yk what i actually dont really mind, im more interested in what this little prince and his guard have going on (and odile and her brother’s relationship is so much more interesting than anything else)

shortly before picking this up i discovered it was a ya novel and i was soooo sure i wasnt gonna like it but damn. its 1:30am (way past my bedtime) and i have to force myself to stop even though our main characters arent even interacting yet
