The novel read like it needed a proper ending. If I had known that the novel would nose-dive into a "oh, that's all, folks" kinda final chapter, I wouldn't even start on it.

In a time when so much is focused on team collaboration, this book offers a different perspective on the importance of solitude. Perhaps it's time to rethink the way classroom lessons are structured these days.

Somewhere in Chapter 3 now. I don't really like the overflow of cynicism in spite of its humor.

Made me recall so many encounters of bullying in school as a kid.

I must say this is a difficult novel to read as it evokes one's deepest fears. Yet, it's so gripping that it's hard to put it down.

I am so loving this book. Amazing how stories about trees are. :)
