Highly recommend this book to anyone who finds Revelation a mystery

Great introduction to the book of Revelation from a preterist mindset.

Regarding the printing of the Book of Mormon, Martin Harris guaranteed $3000 for the printing on 5,000 copies.

Citizens of Palmyra formed a committee to boycott the book. Egbert B. Grandin who was the printer for the BOM afterwards demanded full payment to resume production.

Since they lacked the money to cover the cost, Joseph “received” a revelation directing Cowdery and Page to find a man anxious to buy…

SUPER interesting how Brody gets into the backstory and highlights key aspects of the life of Smith.

Was the BOM translated by the gift and power of God? Given her arguments and documentation, I think not. Either Smith was deceived by the angel Moroni or Smith was one of the most infamous con men to have ever lived!

White goes really deep, even into the Greek. Probably better in paper format but still a good listen so far to at least hear the arguments made for the sovereignty of God and his monergistic work in saving His people

I find it interesting though the use of the term “Eternal Father” with reference to the Son. The term is heavily used in Mosiah and Nephi so far. I believe it may be because Isaiah was Joseph Smiths favorite prophet since he copiously plagiarizes from Isaiah. Isaiah 9:6 declares a son will be called…”Everlasting Father”. Not to confuse the persons of God but now I’m running out of room…

On chapter 3, definitely recommend this book already
