I’m actually reading the translation by Emily Wilson, which is quite different from this translation. But Goodreads defaults to this one despite my attempt at marking the Emily Wilson translation as the one I’m currently reading.

I hate Mr. Sweet.

My favorite Jane Austen so far. It’s hilarious and she goes on a rant through one of her characters about how people should judge each other for reading novels instead of nonfiction. She also does her typical criticism of the men but this one is so blatant I love it!

The prose is just phenomenal. It has a unique structure that I am so inspired by.
