Another excellent Det Sgt George Cross case to get your teeth into. Grab your copy, settle down with the TV turned off and dive into a case as perplexing as the Detective it is challenging too. Usually read these short stories in around an hour, delayed this time with Christmas calling us elsewhere in search of gifts. New Year beckons and a new reading challenge awaits us all. Who will pass their goal next year.

Getting clise to the end of the case. Just WHO is the mysterious Russian following Ruth. I have a feeling he's so.shT connected to Sarah's disappearance in the UK to Europe before being rescued by Ruth and Nick and bought back to the UK and kept safe in Wales from the unscrupulous sex traffickers. Hopefully we will find out at the end?

Just started today. On page 37 of 210. I am a big fan of Simon's and especially his DI Ruth Hunter series. This story focuses on Ruth's girlfriend Sarah who is ensnared in a sex trafficking ring snd currently in Paris, she had been missing for 7 years and in all that time Ruth never stopped searching for her. I don't give out any major spoilers, I'd rather you read for yourselves how she came to be trapped.

Slow reading at the moment due to blurred eyesight. What I have read up to now is excellent though. I am trying to read at least two pages a day before my eyes get too sore to focus. I will get to the end and write my review when finished.

Excellent read. This is an edge of your seat read where you can cut the atmosphere with a knife. A tale so tense and fraught that kept you guessing right to the very last page. Who gets out alive, pick up a copy and enjoy the ride to find out for yourselves.

Have'nt started it yet. Only just finished The Harlech Beach Killings, which incidentally was very good.

Finished few weeks ago. Very good storyline set in my beloved North Wales. Have now got half-way through The Harlech Beach Killings by the same author on my kindle.

Finished this book the other day, realised I had already read it, but it was a good read to go back to.

Just started this at the beginning of Wednesday night, I enjoy the DCI Alan Banks series and am looking forward to what happens. The book was a gift to me and I've only just had the chance to pick it up off my TBR pile. I feel that I know all the character's as friends.

Despite a good start, I gave up reluctantly. It just was'nt what I was expecting. It may suit other readers, but not this one.
