DNF. I had high hopes for this book but did not make it very far into the first chapter. There was way too much over explanation and self doubt that I could not continue to read about the main character. Extremely wordy in the first few pages and my interest dropped fast. However, the premise of the story was interesting.

Plot twist was obvious but will devour the rest of the book.

Every time I have to stop reading I think about this book until I am able to pick it back up! Pacing is slow but the banter makes up for it. I'm enjoying the dynamic between all of the main characters and the MFC continues to grow throughout the story. Will definitely be a 4-5 star read for me.

I started this audio book on a whim while gardening and I'm so pleased I decided to pick this up.

First impressions is a slow burn romance with either a potential love triangle or a big secret being kept. I'm excited to keep reading and learning more about the mystery land and monsters of Turah. I'm enjoying our MFC and the banter between her and the Guardian. I can't wait to continue reading!

Was thinking this was 3 star read but the last 10% of this book?!? Not sure how I’m going to wait until October for the next book!

Ahhhh everything is finally falling into place! This book was so well paced and I’ve binged it the past two days. Finishing the last 150 pages today and I fear it’s gone be close to a 5 star read😬
