This is such an interesting read so far! I feel so bad for our FMC’s childhood and want to slap her mama, but this is a very fun & gory read so far.

It's hard to get through Malina's chapters and I'm shocked that there are still two books to go in this series...

Also listening to the audiobook and that’s helped get me past the slow start. Really enjoying the storyline so far- it’s a bit of a unique magic system and super interesting. Not nearly as hard to follow as it seemed it may be in the beginning.

I'm on the last book of this trilogy and it STILL feels like a slow burn with unresolved tension that has been going on for far too long.
