This has been the slowest paced story I’ve read from McFadden. It’s not baaaad, but it’s lacking the typical cheesy lines she typically has her characters saying…the characters in this book seem TOO normal if that makes any sense haha.

Everyone is so mean to poor misunderstood Lan 😭🤣I know this isn’t his book, but everyone is a jerk to him (I’m already calling it, that he’s gonna be my fav out of the non-queer couples). Anyways, Brandon and Niko’s story is pretty depressing giving Brandon’s character… I have a feeling shits about to go downhill soon…

Ngl it’s so weird reading Glyn’s and Killian’s POV now knowing that during the events of Gareth’s story I barely touched their craziness 🙂—they were sooo sweet in the previous book 😅 already lovey dovey while Gareth was having a life crisis haha. I’m also betting this entire series makes more coherent sense reading the mafia/parent stories first than the kids…
