Very obvious that's she's a journalist rather than a scientist, but I like her more narrative style so far! Except for the random details with zero connection to the point. May have needed a liiiitle bit more trimming.

Finally making headway on this bad boy!!! It’s so beautiful so far, though difficult. Rumi is in the depths of her grief and wow. It does hurt

Horrifyingly gripping so far!! It’s astonishing how little I was aware of this event of disastrous proportions- it seems like something that should be taught in schools alongside the Holocaust and dropping of the atomic bombs.
