I had to dnf. I just couldn’t continue to read the repetitiveness of her father and all the betrayals from every other character, kept getting lost in the timeline…I don’t really understand the world or the magic system, and the connection between the two main characters goes only as deep as “they’re mates”. It had so much potential, but overall became harder and harder to pick back up.
