Off to a great start two chapters in. Characters have shared history that interests me instead of deterring from my enjoyment. Great characterisation, good pacing, written with a upbeat tone and not painstakingly detailed, just right.

Well I loved the hell out of this. One of my favourite experiences in my life was reading these books. This final trilogy for lack of a better term was just incredible and I am dying to read the final novella in the collection of short fiction shipping next Spring. The Expanse books are just the best science fiction I’ve ever come across in any medium. Sad it’s “over” but loved the ride.

I am not going to lie. I had a hard time with the chapters about horoscopes but I'm back in, in a big way. The tone of the book and the narration are fantastic.

So far the writing is top notch. Very much my shit.

A masterpiece.

Can’t wait for the final issue to come out. This is such a rewarding read.

This has been a treat. I never expected this book to be so engaging. So much love of old characters with new concepts.
