While this one is contemporary fiction to its CORE— each character is very backstory motivated which is what I like to READ

I like the idea of this book but I’m gonna be honest… some of the characters in this book, I do not care about at all

I mean I get it but I just don’t really love the main character — ya know when someone makes terrible choices and then is like “why is my life so terrible” … this is kind of like that— still dealing with very real problems but some other things I feel like could be handled a lot better
