Everything keeps happening at the end. Admittedly book 2 has kept me entertained more than book 1 but still frustrated with Jesse. I feel like he has gotten worse and Ava is getting better. Honestly IDEK!

Ugh Jesse takes a big step forward and then 10 steps back.
But I like that Ava is starting to fight back harder and not stuck in denial land. But she still has a long way to go before I deem her an acceptable heroine 😋
But her friends still suck. I'm still on the fence with this series but there's something about it that makes me keep reading. Is it my need to know if Jesse ever redeems himself? Probably...

Hmmmm Ava is better in this book, Jesse is pretty much the same so far. Maybe a little too much sex 😯😅 never thought I'd say that but ... Sorry that's how I feel so far.

Oh gosh 😐😐😐😐😐😐 I've never cried because I've hated a character so much and how they treat their 'lover'. This is so toxic, I can't tell if this is really great writing or just way past my comfort levels. I'm seriously wondering where the 4 star ratings are coming from.......

I’ve reached the place in the book when I previously DNF’d it. But I’ve set the challenge to finish the book and even though I seriously dislike Jesse with more emotion than a fictional character deserves… I will finish this book and I seriously hope to all that is holy that some of these reviewers are right and the end of the book makes it all worth it!!!
