Usually I find Austen quite hard to understand (and therefore enjoy) however so far I’m really enjoying ‘Persuasion’! I’m finding I can pick out and enjoy the wittiness and satirical comments and appreciate the dry humour. This is not something I’ve noticed as much in her other novels.
