Can you tell I'm ready for autumn to come??

I'm absolutely in love with Donna Tartt's writing. The story almost reads itself and my autumn playlist and the book's crackling pages (a few years ago I spilled water onto a pile of books - including this one) only add to the gloomy atmosphere.

Every past autumn since purchasing this book in 2021, I was planning to read this book but life got in the way somehow.

After finishing the Fable duology, I've been debating what to read next. While listening to Chris Isaak's Wicked Game, I suddenly remembered this book and, well, here i am. I am very very very excited for this!! So in the spirit of summerween, etc. i hope i can channel my inner autumn with this.
