the fact that social media still exists in this fantasy world and seeing characters talking about monetization is sooooo depressing to me

went to watch project hail mary today! loved it for the most part but am i the only one that thinks they kinda dumbed rocky down a bit?? like….. that’s my smart quick on his feet alien engineer not comedic relief…..
