I feel realistic fiction should be just that, realistic. There were 2 things that happened in this book that made me deduct a star. Other than that, fantastic read. Likable characters, great story.

I have to say this is probably one of my if not my very favorite book of all time. I loved it! I was so sad when it ended. I want more! Circus life is crazy now I'm sure, never mind during the depression. What a picture she paints!
