Section on Natural law, was great. Classical Distinctions between Essence and Accident, and Potentiality and actuality were very helpful. Burke then in the next chapter shows how the bible fills out these definitions more broadly.

Amazing story teller

Great. Seems like this will be a good lay level introduction, it does not try to synchronize the Bible’s views with modern sensibilities. Or try to come off as winsome towards feminist.

Ideological complimentarians treat biblical commands about male leadership in the home and church has arbitrary law overlay on a neutered nature. The spiritualist (heretics) denied the Trinity, the true church, justification and promised the “inner word” where Gkd spoke directly to the hearts of his people.

Many of the errors and abuses of modern charismatic theology is just a repacked version Anabaptist theology.

Such a fun read

The forward alone is worth the book. First 2 chapters are great.

The Radical Reformation. The Anabaptists, spiritualists and rationalists. Crazy non Protestant groups and heretics.

Michael Foster’s forward was tremendous.

Handing this book out to every parent. So good! Gentle parenting or child-led parenting is a massive problem today.
